Tour Itinerary

  1. 1

The Balloon Ride at Sunrise Time.

We will meet you at your ship in Edfu at around 3:00 AM and begin our journey by private vehicle to Luxor, which takes approximately 2 hours. We will travel early in the morning to make sure you arrive in time for the unforgettable hot air balloon experience over the West Bank of Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, we will head to the take-off area to enjoy a spectacular hot air balloon ride at sunrise. As the sun rises over the horizon, you will have breathtaking panoramic views of the Nile Valley, the West Bank, ancient temples, monuments, and the surrounding desert landscape from above. It is a truly magical way to experience Luxor and see the ancient city from a completely different perspective. After the balloon ride, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast before continuing our exploration of Luxor’s hidden gems.
  2. 2

    Deir El-Medina (Workmen Village).

Our next stop will be the Workers’ Village of Deir El-Medina, one of the most fascinating and lesser-known archaeological sites on the West Bank. This ancient village was home to the skilled workers, architects, painters, and artisans who built and decorated many of the royal tombs in the nearby Valley of the Kings. You will walk through the remains of their ancient homes and learn about their daily lives, traditions, and the important role they played in creating the magnificent monuments of ancient Egypt. We will also explore some of the village’s remarkable private tombs, famous for their beautifully preserved and colorful wall paintings. Unlike the grand royal tombs, these smaller tombs provide a fascinating insight into the personal lives, beliefs, and everyday activities of the people who lived and worked here thousands of years ago.
  3. 3

    Medinat Habu.

Afterward, we will continue to Medinet Habu Temple, the impressive mortuary temple of King Ramses III. This magnificent temple is particularly famous for its well-preserved architecture and detailed inscriptions covering the walls and columns. Here, you will discover the story of King Ramses III and his struggles to protect Egypt against the enemies who threatened the country during his reign. The temple walls preserve detailed scenes and inscriptions depicting battles, military campaigns, and the victories of the Egyptian army, giving you a fascinating look into one of the most important periods of ancient Egyptian history. After exploring Medinet Habu and learning about the history and achievements of Ramses III, we will stop for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, we will drive you back to Luxor and drop you off directly at your ship, concluding an exciting morning filled with adventure, breathtaking views, and some of Luxor’s most fascinating hidden treasures.
